The album explores ideas of wanting someone you shouldn’t have, and fighting back against those who try to control you. The standout on the album is Hunger; a dichotomy of love and hate which you can hear through the struggle of emotion and unrelenting vocals. Contrasting that track is Her Fire which draws you in with a poetic, heartfelt intro before it cuts you with guttural screams and hellish guitar and bass tones. The first single from the album is Stealing Names, which seduces you with Rob’s hard-hitting drums and a slow but catchy rhythm. Similarly, Follow You Down packs a punch with powerhouse drums and a more expertly crafted guitar verse. The song Ghost I know is both sexy and raw, contrasting Harley’s trademark screams with a playful girlishness and an bass intro that evokes the feel of Tool.
